Women’s Month 2026

For Women’s Month, we wanted to encourage our girls to pause and think about something that is not always easy to do: to see themselves in a positive light.

Each girl traced around her hand and, on the five fingers, wrote five positive attributes about herself. They were encouraged to think about their strengths, qualities and the things that make them special. One finger was also used to share a dream for the future—what they would like to be when they grow up.

Every girl has hopes and dreams, but sometimes children need encouragement to recognise their own worth and potential. This simple exercise was designed to focus on each individual girl and remind her that she already has positive qualities within her.

The hands were then cut out and displayed, creating a colourful celebration of individuality, self-belief and aspiration.

We hope that, as these young girls grow, they will continue to recognise their strengths, believe in themselves and hold onto their dreams for the future.
