June 16th – Youth Day
Investing in our youth—the next generation.
In 1976, young South Africans bravely stood up for a better future, making immense sacrifices in the fight for equality and dignity. Today, we honour that legacy by continuing to support and empower young people.
Homework Enrichment Lifeskills Programme (HELP), a registered NPO and PBO, is committed to improving educational outcomes in under-resourced schools. We provide additional English and Mathematics support to learners in two Cape Town primary schools, helping address ongoing challenges in literacy, numeracy, and the impact of disrupted learning.
We are also transforming our library by upgrading systems and creating an inspiring space filled with books that encourage a love of reading. Alongside academic support, our enrichment programmes—including soccer, music, art, chess, and communication skills—help build confidence, creativity, critical thinking, and leadership.
Together, we can help young learners unlock their potential and build a brighter future.
