Springfield Alumni Support Our Library
Springfield Convent Learners Continue Their Support of HELP
HELP is grateful to two former Springfield Convent learners who recently responded to our call for assistance in covering books for the library we are creating at Harmony Primary School. Their willingness to give of their time reflects the long-standing relationship between Springfield Convent Senior School and HELP.
Since 2014, Springfield learners have been completing their community outreach hours at HELP. From Monday to Thursday, learners spend approximately 40 minutes after school assisting children with homework and, once completed, engaging them in educational games that make learning fun and interactive.
The support from the Springfield community also extends to the Foundation Phase programme, where Springfield moms assist with one-on-one reading sessions in the mornings. They also participate in special literacy celebrations, including World Read Aloud Day, helping to foster a love of reading among learners.
We value this ongoing partnership and thank the Springfield community for their continued commitment to education and literacy development.
